Goat Cheese Prosciutto Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Pinch of salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
  • 4-5 pieces of prosciutto
  • 1 tsp fresh marjoram leaves
  • cup goat cheese crumbled
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven & Prep Ingredients. Preheat the oven to 550 °F or the highest temperature it can get with the pizza stone inside.
    You want the oven and the pizza stone as hot as possible. The most important thing is to leave the oven running for at least 10 minutes after it’s preheated to ensure the pizza stone is at the same temperature as your oven.
  • Make the Pizza Sauce. Mince the garlic and add it to a small bowl with extra-virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Stir to combine.

  • Prep the Pizza Dough. Roll out the pizza dough into a thin layer on a floured surface and evenly spread the pizza sauce on top.
    Add prosciutto slices and generously sprinkle goat cheese all over.
  • Bake the Pizza. Bake the goat cheese pizza at the highest temperature your oven can get for about 8-10 minutes or until doneness. 
  • Enjoy. Add fresh marjoram leaves generously on top, and drizzle honey all over before serving.
