Parmesan Lemon Pepper Wings

These Baked Lemon Pepper Wings are crispy, savory, tender, and seasoned with a delicious lemon pepper sauce and fresh parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings raw
  • 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil or substitute another neutral oil
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp of lemon zest, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1 tbsp of avocado oil in a small bowl.
  • Add the chicken wings to a bowl, add the sauce and toss together to full coat. Let the wings rest for 5-10 minutes (optional).
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the seasoned wings to the prepared sheet leaving space enough space between each wing. 
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until crispy. Flip the chicken wings half way through. 
  • In small bowl, mix together the remaining 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
  • Remove the baked wings from the oven and lightly brush the lemon pepper sauce over the wings. Season with parmesan cheese and serve immediately. 

Notes

Best when fresh. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. Reheat in an Air Fryer or the oven at 450 degrees F for 5-10 minutes.
