Turmeric Ginger Banana Smoothie

This Turmeric Ginger Banana Smoothie is very simple, refreshing, packed with vitamin C, slightly-zingy, and naturally sweet. It's also immune-boosting, rich in antioxidants, and keeps you full for hours, all while tasting delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 scoop protein powder we used Orgain Organic Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 carrot cut into pieces
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 knob ginger about 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup orange juice or sub 1/2 cup orange juice and 1/2 cup of water to reduce calories
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder or sub 1 tsp of fresh turmeric. We used Gaia Golden Milk Powder
  • 1 handful spinach optional, this will change the color but will not change the flavor.

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a cup and serve immediately.
