Equipment

  • Pizza Stone
  • Pizza Cutter
  • Pizza Peel

Ingredients

  • 16 oz pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • pinch of salt and black pepper
  • handful of arugula
  • ½ cup shredded chicken
  • caramelized sweet onions
  • fresh chopped basil

Balsamic Glaze

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

Balsamic Glaze

  • Add all ingredients (balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt) to a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vinegar reduces in half.
  • Remove the pan from the heat to cool for about 5 minutes, until the glaze starts to thicken.

Strawberry Pizza

  • Preheat Oven. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature( 500-550° F), and place a pizza stone on the middle rack of the oven.
Once the oven is preheated, let it sit for 10 additional minutes to make sure the pizza stone is at the same temperature as your oven.
  • Prepare Pizza Dough. Roll pizza dough out with your hands or with a rolling pin. Try to make the pizza dough as thin as possible. Place pizza dough on a piece of parchment paper, so it’s easier to slide on the pizza peel.
  • Make the Garlicky Olive Oil Sauce. Mince 1 garlic and add it to a small bowl with olive oil and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix to combine.
  • Add Toppings. On the pizza, spread the garlic olive oil sauce on top and generously sprinkle sliced strawberries.
Next, sprinkle Goat Cheese and add any other toppings you may want, like shredded chicken or caramelized onions.
  • Bake Pizza. Slide pizza on the hot pizza stone and bake for 10 minutes until the pizza crust is golden brown.
  • Add Additional Topping. Add fresh basil and arugula to the baked pizza and generously drizzle the balsamic glaze on top.
    & Enjoy.
