Vegan Caramel Sauce

This vegan caramel sauce is so delicious. It’s creamy, vegan, and made with natural ingredients, and takes about 5 minutes of your time! 

So, what’s in it? 

  • almond butter
  • maple syrup
  • salt
  • coconut oil
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla extract

All you need to do is mix the ingredients over medium heat in a saucepan. Once it starts to bubble and thicken, turn off the heat and let it cool. Once cooled, you will have this dreamy and cream caramel sauce! Sounds lush, right? 

This vegan caramel is nutty, slightly sweet, easy to make, and very tasty! Perfect for any dessert that calls for caramel. We hope you all love it! Enjoy!

Description

This vegan caramel is nutty, slightly sweet, easy to make, and very tasty! Perfect for any dessert that calls for caramel. Made with natural ingredients, and comes together in about 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  2. 1/2 cup almond butter, we like Wild Friends
  3. 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 

Instructions

  1. To a small saucepan, whisk together all ingredients over medium-low heat until smooth and glossy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Remove from heat and let the caramel cool to room temperature (about 5 minutes). It will thicken like traditional caramel sauce.
  3. Store in a glass container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. 

Notes

If the caramel is too thick, place the container in the microwave for about 1 minute, stirring in increments.
