Naan Pizza

Naan Bread Pizza

Welcome back to another Pizza Friday! This week we wanted to share the easiest pizza recipe with you! Aka – Naan Pizza! Using Naan to make pizza is such a great idea! It’s faster than ordering pizza and tastes way better!

Packaged Naan is easy to find these days too! We buy Stonefire’s Naan from Costco! While they sell mini Naan only, it doesn’t matter because everyone can make 1-2 Naan Pizzas with their favorite toppings! You’ll never need to order pizza or purchase frozen pizza from the store again! 😉 It’s so easy and so delicious!

Ingredients you’ll need to make Mini Naan Pizzas at home:

  • Naan Bread – homemade or store-bought. We buy Stonefire’s Mini Naan Bread Original from Costco. It’s so delicious and tasty! You can also purchase smaller packages from your local grocery store too!
  • Pizza Marinara – either homemade or store-bought. We like Rao’s Marinara when we don’t have any Campari tomatoes on hand to make our homemade sauce.
  • Veggies: Sweet Peppers, Mushrooms, spinach, etc. – Use your favorite veggies!
  • Protein: Pepperoni or homemade sausage.
  • Cheese: Fresh Mozzarella.
  • Additional Toppings: fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese.

We used our homemade tomato sauce, sweet peppers, spinach, and grated mozzarella cheese as our toppings for this post. Super delicious!

How to make Pizza with Naan Bread:

Simple, add your toppings to the smooth side of the naan bread, and bake the pizza in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the edges become crispy! Some recipes recommend baking the Naan bread first, but we found that baking everything together at one time was the quickest and easiest. Plus, the results are the same!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I make Naan Pizza on the stovetop?

Yes! Add some olive oil to a sauté pan over medium heat and cook the naan pizza on the flat side first for about 5 minutes. Remove the naan from the pan to add toppings on the flat side. Transfer back to the pan and cook over low heat for an additional 10 minutes with the lid on. Cook until the crust is browned and the cheese is melted.

How to store leftovers and reheat the next day:

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat leftovers in a pan with olive oil to make the crust crunchy and delicious!

Wine Pairing Ideas:

We like to serve this Naan pizza with a nice bottle of Red. The bold wine flavors complement the pizza seasoning perfectly with each bite. We selected a Red Blend from a local winery, Laurentia Vineyards.

Making Naan Pizza is super easy and delicious! It’s the perfect pizza recipe to make for those quick and easy dinners or lunches! All you got to do is add your favorite toppings and bake them to yummy perfection!

We hope you all love this recipe! Enjoy!  ♡
