Everything Bagel Margherita Pizza

by Tracey

Welcome to Pizza Friday! Where I share a new pizza recipe that is too good that you’ll never order pizza again!

With places closing due to COVID again, I thought it would be a good time to start sharing weekly pizza recipes on Fridays. That way, you and your family can spend time together, in the kitchen, by making delicious homemade pizza.

This Friday’s pizza is for “everything bagel spice” lovers and “Margherita pizza” lovers.  Instead of having the same old Margherita pizza, I added Spiceology’s Everything Bagel Spice, and WOW, it was such a great idea! It was sooo delicious, I went for seconds. That’s when you know you are eating a delicious pizza… you go for seconds, thirds, fourths and then realize you ate the whole pizza. Oops!

That’s right, this Everything Bagel Margherita Pizza is a must for your Pizza Friday’s menu!

I stumbled upon Spiceology when I was looking for new spices to try.  I never heard of them before, and I instantly became intrigued by how unique their blends were.  The jars the spices come in are also beautiful. I decided to purchase a few of their spice blends, including their Salt-Free Everything Bagel Spice blend. It’s so good, and it was perfect for this pizza!  I highly recommend checking out their spice blends if you are looking for new spices to try! You won’t be disappointed!  I know I’m not!

I highly recommend making your own homemade pizza dough for your Pizza Fridays. If you need a good one, check out our Best Overnight Pizza Dough! It’s super easy to make and super delicious. I even bet you have all 5 ingredients in your pantry too!

This Everything Bagel Margherita Pizza is delicious, easy to make, made with simple ingredients, and perfect to make any time of the year!

I hope you all love this pizza! See you next time for a new Pizza recipe! Enjoy!

This Everything Bagel Margherita Pizza is so delicious, easy to make, made with simple ingredients, and perfect to make any time of the year!

  1. Pizza dough, homemade or storebought
  2. 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  3. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  4. pinch of salt and pepper
  5. 1 large or 2 small heirloom tomatoes, cut into thin slices
  6. 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes (4 ounces)
  7. 46 pieces of fresh basil, chopped
  8. 1 tablespoon of Everything Bagel Spice + more to serve

  1. Place a pizza stone in the oven and preheat the oven to 550 degrees or as high as it can get. You want your oven as hot as possible.
  2. Prepare pizza dough.  If your dough was in the fridge, bring the dough to room temperature about 2 hours before rolling it out. If your dough is ready, flour the surface and flour a rolling pin to roll the dough from the center to the edges until the circle is about half an inch thick.  Once fully rolled out, place parchment paper on your pizza peel, gently pick up the dough, and lay it on top.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, olive oil, and salt and pepper.
  4. Using a silicone pastry brush, gently add the garlic olive oil mixture on top of the pizza dough.
  5. Assemble the pizza by adding the sliced tomatoes, and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Everything Bagel Spice.
  6. Gently slide pizza onto the pizza stone and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove pizza from the oven and add fresh chopped basil on top.
  8. Cut into slices and serve immediately. If desired, serve with additional Everything Bagel Spice sprinkled on top.
